Good Mornin' Lovers. I hope you're enjoying your shorter week, I do love me a shorter week but when your week is filled with deadlines it can be confusing. Tuesday feels like Monday, but it most certainly is not! But the bad is balanced out with the good as I have tickets to the hockey game this evening and Matt Good tomorrow night!
Gingham is my go to print for summer, but I am pleased to see that it works just as flawlessly for fall (even though it appears to be winter now). Paired with two very "fall" colours such as rust and mustard it's an easy transition. Not only do these pieces give this black and white dress a much needed pop of colour, they are keeping me toasty warm. I love figuring out ways to style my summer dresses for winter, because there's nothing sadder than the thinning out of my wardrobe in the winter months.
. We have to deal with cold and snow 6 months out of the year, is it really too much to ask for an extensive wardrobe to go along with that too?!

Dress twins! I remembered you having a gingham dress that I loved when I bought mine, but I totally didn't realize it was the same one haha. Apparently I'm just trying to steal your whole wardrobe. No shame.
ReplyDeleteI love how you styled it! That scarf is just fantastic. And seriously. Why are winter clothes the worst?
Dress twinnnnsies! I'm happy with that :)
DeleteI just get so sick of winter clothes because it's winter here FOREVVVVVER (or just 6 months...)

ReplyDeleteThis gingham dress is definitely working for fall! I think your yellow cardigan works perfectly with it. I need a gingham dress now. I really like your cool snake ring too!
ReplyDeleteLove the black and white gingham checks with the mustard yellow cardigan! I love that the print goes so well from summer to fall (slash winter).
